Shahbazov said that these funds are invested by UAE’s Masdar company.
“The commissioning of this solar power plant will not affect the growth or reduction of electricity tariffs in Azerbaijan,” the minister added.

The investment cost of the Garadagh solar power plant construction project in Azerbaijan with a capacity of 230 megawatts is $225 million, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov said at the press conference dedicated to the groundbreaking ceremony for the Garadagh solar power plant with a capacity of 230 megawatts, AzVision.az reports.
